Thunder Goes Undefeated!!

I think I've mentioned that Evan isn't too athletic, but he sure tries and has fun. Today at their last basketball game, Evan actually touched the ball! I think it was the 2nd time in all 7-8 games. Anyhow, I am so glad I had my camera with me to capture the moment! I have to say that while I wish he were a bit more competitive (just a bit), I'm glad that he is able to have fun and not worry if he makes a basket or not (which he never did).

I'm doomed

I really am. I came upstairs last night to find Mike and Evan watching The Three Stooges on YouTube and Evan was laughing hysterically. Big belly laughs. I myself don't find them all that funny. I need to try and get it on video-unfortunately my camera was sitting on the desk while all this was going on.

I heard from his principal that she nominated him for the National Young Leaders Program that will be held for a week in Columbus this summer. See http://www.cylc.org/nylp/ I'm so proud of him!!

Evan's 1st public performance!!

Evan's piano teacher has a Saturday morning studio class every once and awhile that gives the kids a chance to play in front of each other-it gives them the opportunity to practice pieces they are working on and to let them get an idea of what it will be like when they have a recital. Anyhow, Evan has been taking lessons since mid-November and this was his first studio class. I think he did a great job and I'm very proud of him!! Now, what I need to video next is us butting heads when it comes to practicing the piano. :)
